Are you a tango dancer and like to join a performance?

Compania Cielito

We are inviting everyone to take part in a tango waltz that will be part of a performance by Compania Cielito in Utrecht Uitfeest.

Over two practice sessions you will learn a simple choroegrpahy for the first 6 phrases of a tango waltz, the rst we improvise as a way to bring more awareness of tango in Utrecht and have fun showing a little of what we do in salons. Think flash mob with a twist.

Compania Cielito will also perform 3-4 pieces. We will finish with an improvised dance which everyone is welcome to take part in. Know someone who would like to take part, spread the word. Contact me with a partner for sign and more information.

Practical:

*Rehearsals: 7 &14 september, 19:00 – 20:00, Studio Cielito (mariendaalstraat 14, utrecht)

*Performance: 16th September, 16:15 – 16:45, Stads Brug, Utrecht
*Costs: Free to take part with sign up.
*Costumes: Men – black trousers, white shirt. Women – red dress as backup but we have a number of dresses in our costume cupboard. We also have a number of accessories for the guys. 🙂
